Assistant Accountant - East Cork - Permanent Primary Job Function of Assistant Accountant To assist with the Admin and Accounts work of the Finance department. Duties included in this role as Assistant Accountant Handling Customer & Vendor setup forms Intrastat & VIES returns Bank reconciliations Fixed asset register & depreciation Weekly invoice/credit note run Issuing statements and aged debt report Monthly sales reps report Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns Assistance with the annual audits and ISO The ideal candidate: Min 5+ years experience in a similar role as an assistant accountant. Coming from an SME Environment. Part qualified and or studying towards accountancy exams. Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an advantage.
