A snapshot of your key responsibilities as Web Application Developer would be:
1. Ensure successful upgrade of the Central European Submissions Portal (CESP) portal. This work may include:
2. Provision of structured development and test environments and ensuring that they are configured correctly for testing a range of business scenarios
3. Establish processes for the replication of production databases and other technical configuration requirements
4. Migrating/copying existing production configurations including workflows and configuration to test environments
5. Verifying source code and configuration to ensure that connections are flexibly coded and testing does not impact production
6. Documenting and rebuild/recompiling the entire technology stack and ensuring reproducibility of the build process
7. Updating/creating key solution documentation covering Business Continuity and Recovery, Application Provisioning, Application Architecture, Software Architecture, and Development and Test Strategy
8. Redevelopment of Compliance Information System (CIS). This work may include:
9. Updating application components and refactoring code as required
10. Improving the performance of application including making appropriate code changes as required
11. Improving application integration with external data sources including refining rules, field mapping and testing data feeds, inbound and outbound
12. Development of an externally facing portal to receive submissions from notifiers for exempt medicines including data scheme remodeling
Requirements:
13. 4-6 years professional experience in a similar role
14. Availability to provide services from the commencement date of the services estimated to be August .
15. Hold a 3rd level qualification in business, information technology, engineering, management information systems or a relevant related discipline.
16. Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
17. Competent and experienced developing enterprise applications using common development frameworks including .NET, Angular and Bootstrap. Familiarity with a range of other development technologies such as Power Platform would be advantageous.
18. Competent and experienced integrating enterprise applications with underlying infrastructure components including active directory, networks and Microsoft web technologies.
19. Competent and experienced developing applications utilising Microsoft database technologies.
20. Competent and experienced using enterprise FTP solutions such as Globalscape or similar products.
21. Proficient and experienced with common development management tools including Microsoft DevOps, Jira, Confluence and MS Project, and working in a structured application development environment.
22. Possess excellent analytical skills, highly numerate, commercially aware with strong business acumen.
23. Demonstrate a strong personal drive and self-motivation to achieve goals.
24. Focuses on delivery, prioritising tasks effectively and manages time efficiently.
25. Interacts effectively with colleagues across the organisation and external suppliers.
