Finance Manager required for a long term contract (15 months) with 5 plus years post qualified experience in a multinational environment. Galway city. Hybrid (4 days in office).
Key Responsibilities:
1. The provision of accounting services including transaction processing, general accounting and reporting.
2. Ability to quickly establish credibility and engage with external and internal stakeholders at all levels.
3. Possess strong technical accounting knowledge.
4. Manage on-site and remote working teams.
5. Ability to lead relevant projects within current day to day role.
6. Responsible for standardizing and implementing policies & procedures to drive compliance, efficiency and improved business productivity.
7. Establish and implement appropriate internal controls and accounting policies in areas such as Revenue Recognition.
8. Build strong collaborative working relationships with local and US teams.
9. Responsible for communicating and implementing policies, operational controls and procedures to ensure an efficient and accurate service to customers across the region.
10. Contribution to the definition of service standards and continuous management of service level agreements.
11. Financial Analysis, including month end review of business unit performance.
Requirements
12. Big-4 trained and qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA with a Bachelors Degree
13. 5+ years post qualification experience (PQE) in a multi-national environment.
14. Knowledge of US GAAP, FRS102 and IFRS.
15. Strong analytical capability and an ability to appreciate the commercial impact of accounting issues.
16. Knowledge of SAP / SAGE ERP systems is essential.
