We have an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join a global electronics & medical equipment manufacturing site in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Automated electro-acoustic lines to ensure the company's production plan and OEE targets are achieved.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform various complex machine operations that require close tolerance or high precision to produce specific parts of different products in line with quality standards.
2. Monitor machine output on the shift and ensure all cells are running to cycle time and meet specific OEE targets.
3. Reporting of status to the next shift in a structured handover, and as required to the supervisor/Manager or other relevant departments.
4. Carry out Scheduled Preventative Maintenance as required.
5. Ensure that health and safety are followed in the area and report any observations/issues.
6. Monitor and maintain the 6S Culture to target levels and lead by example to ensure production areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness.
Job Requirements:
7. Minimum 2 Years in Experience within an Automated Production Environment.
8. Third Level Qualification in a Relevant Engineering Course or QQI Level 6 Trade Qualification.
9. Experience in Pneumatics, Electronics, PLC's
10. Strong Communication Skills and ability to work as part of a team.
