As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionDue to growing demand for our consultancy services we are seeking to hire a Principal Consultant with database development, database management, process & data mapping and data analysis skillsets to join our specialist Turner & Townsend Technology consulting team.The role involves supporting a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions, and we are seeking an individual with a strong track record of delivering data and analytics projects.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstand client’s data and systemsMap out and establish end-to-end data processes and data flowsEvaluate, design, implement and manage database solutionsExtract and integrate large datasets from multiple sourcesImplement data validation and cleansing processesSetup and maintain automated reporting processesTest and secure existing systems to ensure optimal performanceProvide technical expertise in delivering business requirementsQualificationsExperience with Microsoft Power PlatformConsulting and business analysis skills (e.g. MoSCoW method) to understand client’s requirementsProduce technical specificationsExperience in Azure platform (e.g. Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Blob Storage)Experience working as a Database Analyst or Database DeveloperAbility to program in languages such as SQL, .NET, Python, and Bash scriptUnderstand data warehouse, data modeling, and ETL conceptsUnderstand and design business intelligence and reporting architectureUnderstand concepts of dimensions, measures, metadata & schemasUnderstand analytical processingDESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCEDegree educated or equivalent experience in a technical subjectStrong analytical skillsAdvanced Excel and VBA skillsAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
