Job Description
My client is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team and improving existing processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the engineering team, training, and performance management.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product development plans.
3. Develop and implement processes to improve product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
4. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop new products to meet those needs.
5. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the engineering process.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
7. Create and manage project timelines and budgets.
Requirements:
8. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
9. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a management role.
10. Strong leadership and project management skills.
11. Knowledge of quality control and process improvement methodologies.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Familiarity with safety regulations and standards.
