Financial Reporting Assistant Manager Morgan McKinley have partnered with a global advisory business who are seeking to hire a Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join their city centre-based team. Successful candidates will have oversight of financial reporting across a diverse client base of fund administrators and asset managers. This role would ideally suit someone looking to move away from a financial reporting function within a fund administrator into a global advisory practice. Responsibilities Participate in the financial reporting process, review and remediation of business processes and short-term interim staffing assignments working within a team environment to ensure deadlines are met. Maintain oversight of the adequacy and effectiveness of the Risk Management and Control Framework, associated policies and internal control processes in place. Provide continued support in identifying, assessing, understanding, measuring and managing risks associated with clients activities. Accounting for trading and/or investment entities including private equity / debt structures or month end / quarter end reporting o regulatory reporting support. Work with clients to prepare and review financial statements under IFRS, and Lux and US GAAP. Requirements ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification. 2-3 years experience in a financial reporting function within Fund Administration/Asset Management. Proficient in either IFRS and Lux and US GAAP. Strong computer skills advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite. Experience in Geneva, Investran, Sun and SAP advantageous.
