The Gleneagle Group consists of the Gleneagle Hotel and Gleneagle INEC Arena, a 279-bedroom hotel, with several bars and restaurants, extensive leisure facilities, day spa, retail space, banqueting and entertainment spaces for up to 4000 people, separate meeting and function rooms and self-catering apartments. There are a lot of moving parts with a core Gleneagle hotel team and separate teams for Gleneagle INEC Entertainment events and KCC business tourism events. The 4* Maritime Hotel set on Bantry Bay has 110 bedrooms and banqueting and leisure facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Development: Collaborate with the management team to craft and execute comprehensive ecommerce strategies.
* Website Oversight: Direct the design and development of our websites, ensuring a top-notch user experience and functionality.
* SEO and Mobile Focus: Implement SEO strategies and optimise mobile ecommerce to enhance online visibility and ensure a seamless mobile shopping experience.
* Data-Driven Insights: Generate actionable insights from data analysis to inform business decisions and strategies.
* Partner Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with business partners and marketplace platforms to enhance ecommerce capabilities.
* Gleneagle INEC Arena Coordination: Oversee product offerings and promotions for the Arena, focusing on direct-to-consumer channels for music artists, festivals, and events.
* Performance Metrics: Drive key online performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and revenue through targeted strategies.
* Support and Collaboration: Support the Commercial Director in evolving ecommerce strategies and collaborate with the marketing team to execute content calendars for seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and key dates.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive skill set in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Paid Media (PPC), and Web Analytics, demonstrating expertise across the following areas:
* SEO Expertise: The candidate should be well-versed in all aspects of SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and technical SEO. They should be capable of crafting effective content strategies that align with SEO goals, while also excelling in link building and local SEO practices. Strong analytical skills are necessary to conduct competitor analysis, manage e-commerce SEO, and deliver insightful SEO reporting that tracks progress and identifies opportunities for improvement.
* Paid Media Management: The candidate should have extensive experience managing Google Ads campaigns. They should be adept at developing and executing comprehensive campaign strategies, managing budgets for maximum ROI, and conducting A/B testing to optimise campaign performance. Proficiency in retargeting, performance tracking, and audience targeting is essential to drive successful paid media outcomes.
* Web Analytics and Data Interpretation: Proficiency in Google Analytics is crucial, with the ability to set up, configure, and analyse web data effectively. The candidate should possess strong conversion rate optimisation (CRO) skills, be capable of data visualisation, and excel in interpreting data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. They should also be experienced in creating detailed reports that offer clear recommendations based on web analytics data.
* This role demands a well-rounded digital marketing professional who can seamlessly integrate SEO, paid media, and analytics to drive business growth and deliver measurable results.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in an Ecommerce role.
* Education: 3rd Level Degree in Business Administration/Marketing Ecommerce or Information Technology/Computer Science
* Technical Skills: Proficient with Web Analytics, Ecommerce/CRM technologies, and CMS. Strong understanding of digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, and Paid Social.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English is essential.
* Attitude: Positive work attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
