About the Role
We are currently recruiting for seasonal Customer Service Representatives to join our team at our Head Office, Galway. If you have a passion for Customer Service, are commercially aware and can hit the ground running, then Smyths Toys could be for you!
Our headquarters in Galway has over 200 employees, with additional offices in Lille and Cologne. We operate over 280 physical retail stores in Ireland, the UK, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands, together with a substantial online business in each country.
1. Initial Contract Type: Full time - Temporary Fixed Term
2. 37.5 hours per week
3. Shifts patterns available: Saturday to Wednesday & Wednesday to Sunday
4. Salary: €26,000 per year
Responsibilities:
5. Ensuring that our customers are provided with a high quality level of customer service over a range of communication channels, but primarily across phone and email channels
6. Responding to customer queries in a timely manner, and in accordance with company procedures
7. Using your product and system knowledge to solve problems for customers
8. Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always
9. Providing administrative support as and when required
10. Adhering strictly to data protection and confidentiality laws
11. Working towards daily performance targets as outlined by the Management Team
12. Working as part of a team to achieve high customer service satisfaction
The ideal candidates will:
13. Have previous customer service experience
14. Have great attention to detail
15. Possess previous admin experience - ideally working in a role where IT systems were used daily
16. Behave in a professional manner
17. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
18. Be highly organised with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
19. Have the ability to multitask
