Opportunity:
As the Late Shift Hygiene Supervisor/Manager, you will lead the night shift operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production while maintaining the highest hygiene standards. You will manage a small, dedicated team and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, including hygiene, ensuring the plant is clean, compliant, and ready for the next day's operations.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the night shift production team to meet daily targets efficiently.
* Ensure full compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations, leveraging your production and hygiene expertise.
* Oversee deep cleaning operations to prepare the plant for the next production cycle.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production processes, hygiene, and safety.
* Manage team performance, ensuring minimal hands-on supervision and fostering autonomy within the team.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in production management within a food manufacturing environment,
* ideally within ready-made meals or similar sectors.
* Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices, with the ability to lead and implement hygiene protocols across production.
* Experience in managing teams and operations with minimal supervision.
* Ability to oversee all areas of production, from hygiene to output efficiency, without the need for extensive training or hand-holding.
* Ability to work from 2-4 pm to 10-12 midnight
* Strong leadership skills and a proactive mindset, ensuring operations run smoothly during night shifts.
Remuneration:
Indicative salary in the range of €40-50k for a 45/hr week, and the finer details will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
