Innovation Manager
I’m looking for a passionate and creative Innovation Manager to join this Irish business with a global reach.
This is a newly established role where you’ll be joining the Global Innovation team to build out the Innovation Pipeline for the next 3-5 years.
You’ll own the innovation process from insight to new product development, working closely with international markets to develop winning concepts and products.
Ideally they would like to see candidates who have innovation experience within FMCG, But they are open for the right person.
Role Deliverables
1. Develop an insights focused pipeline of category concept areas, working collaboratively with global and local insights teams to unlock winning insights.
2. Lead, manage and drive approved projects through the new Stage Gate process from discovery through to implementation stages.
3. Brief and collaborate closely with the R&D team on new concepts and line extension developments.
4. Work hand in hand with commercial teams to create innovations our consumers, shoppers and customers will love.
5. Review on a continuous basis project risks, financial deliverables, timings and other key success metrics.
6. Support the innovation planning cycle, working closely with relevant teams to ensure critical timings and deadlines are captured and adhered to.
7. Track product market performance and make adjustments to enhance propositions.
8. Deliver regular project reports and updates to key stakeholders.
Experience And Qualifications
9. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Research or related subjects.
10. Minimum 8 years’ experience in marketing, innovation strategy or new to market brand projects, ideally within FMCG.
11. A track record of developing launch/seed/growth strategies & activations.
12. Experience working across global markets and geographies a plus.
13. Excellent project management skills, including leadership and problem-solving skills. Stage Gate experience a plus.
14. Excellent communicator, compelling storyteller, fascinated by consumer behaviour and understanding the Why of the What.
15. Entrepreneurial mindset, strong personal drive, promotes ideas and curiosity.
