Restaurant Manager - Galway City
This is a full-time, permanent role managing a new restaurant opening in Eyre Square, Galway.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 5 years of hospitality management experience
* Culinary knowledge and a wide appreciation of food processes would be beneficial
* Experience managing both front-of-house and back-of-house teams
* Ability to inspire and motivate staff as well as create and develop new ways to mentor the team
* Ability to multi-task
* Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Basic Role Requirements (to name but a few!)
* Oversee the dining area, and supervise food and beverage service staff following operating policies that the company has in place
* Creates a positive team atmosphere among Team Members
* Works with food and beverage staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food-handling procedures
* Handle guest complaints in restaurants and ensure issues are resolved
* Priorities tasks effectively to ensure most important tasks are completed on time
* Proficiency in POS software
* This outgoing and highly motivated individual should be business-minded, lead by example, have a keen eye for detail, possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and have a real passion and drive for hospitality.
