Due to an internal promotion, we are now recruiting for a Group Skills & Standards Trainerto assist with the delivery of the groups on the job skills development strategy for Dalata Academy. This position will work within a well-structured and organised L&D function and Group HR team and will report to the Group Learning & Development Manager. More about the ideal candidate: We are looking for an experienced enthusiastic & motivated self-starter for this role who will work as part of the Group L&D team. Passion for training, a confident trainer and previous skills training experience is essential for this role. Experiencein Food & Beverage, Accommodation and Front Office in a hotel setting is essential. Strong PowerPoint experience is desired. Full Driving Licence holder with access to own car is essential. More about the role: This role is a permanent full time role and the following will be the main duties of the role. Deliver skills training workshops as per training needs in the hotels across the portfolio; Assist with the pre-opening skills training for our new builds; Deliver training one to one and in group settings for our teams; Focus on Customer Care and embed high standards of customer care across all training; Support the design of training materials with the Group L&D Team; Use measurement tools to understand the effect of your training as well complete training needs analysis in the hotels to ensure the correct training is delivered; Utilising current Dalata Academy materials and tools; Deliver content for Heart of Hospitality customer experience programme; Deliver and assist with delivery of Train the Trainer and Reach programmes; Contribute and assist with Dalata Academy projects. The position will be primarily based travelling around our hotels in Ireland, Northern Ireland, UK and Europe three days a week and two days delivering training, admin, planning, designing training content and team meetings.
