Position: Area Service Manager
Location: Field-based role covering the Counties of Cork & Kerry
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to €38,000 per year
Working hours: Monday to Friday - Flexible, based on client site visits and operational needs.
We are seeking an experienced Area Service Manager to join our team immediately. This role is crucial for maintaining client relationships and ensuring high standards of service at various sites across Cork and Kerry. The successful candidate will supervise on-site staff, manage client interactions, oversee performance, and support recruitment and onboarding efforts.
Role Overview
* Title: Area Service Manager - Field-Based, Customer Focused
* Purpose: To manage service delivery, support on-site staff, and uphold high customer satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high standards and prompt response to client needs.
2. Operational Efficiency: Ensure on-site operations are reliable, consistent, and efficient, meeting all performance and quality expectations.
3. Health & Safety Compliance: Oversee and prioritize the health and safety of all on-site staff.
4. Staff Performance & Development: Regularly monitor staff performance, addressing any training, development, or disciplinary needs.
5. Onboarding & Training: Ensure all staff are fully trained to meet site requirements and standards.
Primary Responsibilities
* Client Site Visits: Conduct scheduled site visits as per the client management plan.
* Quality Auditing: Monitor service quality standards and ensure compliance with cleaning specifications through audits.
* Client Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any client concerns efficiently.
* Documentation & Compliance: Complete and forward all required ISO and HSEQ documentation.
* Equipment Management: Oversee the secure storage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials.
* Performance Monitoring: Assess and address training and development needs, coordinating eLearning modules as necessary.
* Staff Onboarding: Conduct in-person inductions, including sign-up, training on machinery, colour-coding, and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
Required
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role with experience in soft services or technical support.
* Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a diverse team.
* Communication Skills: Confident, clear communicator with a solution-focused approach.
* Attention to Detail: Highly organized with a meticulous eye for quality standards and detail.
* Additional Requirements: Must possess a full, clean driving license.
