The Business Intelligence and Insights Analyst will play a crucial role within the Data and Analytics function. This position focuses on leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights across multiple teams. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, utilising advanced analytics tools to transform data into meaningful insights that enhance operational efficiency and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
4. Extract, clean, and analyse financial data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
5. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
6. Perform ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making processes and provide actionable recommendations.
Business Intelligence Development:
7. Design and implement business intelligence solutions to improve data accessibility and usability for the finance team.
8. Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate and streamline data sources.
9. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms.
Financial Insights and Strategic Support:
10. Provide deep dive analysis on financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
11. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with robust data analysis and scenario modelling
12. Assist in developing financial models to evaluate business scenarios and guide strategic planning.
Collaboration and Communication:
13. Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
14. Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports.
15. Act as a subject matter expert on business intelligence tools and best practices within the finance function.
What we are looking for
16. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
17. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or finance analytics role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
18. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
19. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
20. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
21. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
22. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
