St Josephs are looking for a Deli / Catering Assistant for our Cafe in Charleville that opened in April 2023..
6 month fixed term post : 35 hours a week (Monday-Friday)
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous barista experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong desire to work with food.
Flexible with the ability to work on own initiative as well as working as part of the team.
Be friendly, professional and polite
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide a fast, friendly and efficient level of customer service.
Preparing and serving beverages
Preparing and serving food items
Answering customer's questions about menu choices
Taking payments and operating tills
Ensure the regular and systematic cleaning and maintenance of the equipment in the restaurant, both front of house (and back of house if required) ensuring that hygiene and food safety standards are adhered to.
Setting up counters and merchandising the restaurant.
To adhere to specifications, standards and procedures while at work.
