Project Process Engineer – Controls
Summary
Provide automation support for new and existing processes and equipment to reduce manufacturing complexity and ensure long-term viability at the Ballina site. Collaborate with Global Engineering, R&D, and QA to develop and deliver control solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support
Develop and track control-related project plans.
Lead/support equipment qualification and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Test machine logic/code against specifications and ensure safety compliance for control hardware/software.
Conduct and close out risk assessments.
Process Support
Provide technical support for control systems in manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, implementing corrective and preventative measures.
Communicate solutions effectively to technical teams.
Occasionally provide out-of-hours support.Qualifications
Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Controls, or Programming.
Experience with PLC machine control, operator interfaces, and electrical controls design/maintenance.
Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD for panel/electrical drafting.
3–5 years in automated batch processes, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals.
