Production Line Lead x 3 (morning or evening shifts available)

Due to continued growth and expansion at their circular economy site, our manufacturing client are seeking to hire a production line lead for a permanent afternoon shift, monday to friday. They are looking to speak with applicants that have prior manufacturing experience and are strong on both people management and development.

Key Requirements:
A good working knowledge of all processes of the manufacturing line and will work in a leadership role supporting the Manufacturing Manager.
The ability to lead and motivate a group of production operators to meet the company's goals in terms of quality, schedule, yield, and productivity according to procedure.
Responsibility for managing the end-to-end process, reacting to yield and quality issues as they occur and pro-actively addressing potential issues.
Responsibility for ensuring the line performance is optimized throughout the shift. This will include safety, Security, quality, yield, throughput, material supply and people etc.
Key Deliverables:
1. To supervise lines to ensure all site Safety, Security, Quality, Productivity and Waste management objectives, policies and procedures are met.
2. Manages quality inspection in line with check list and guidelines provided.
3. Supports continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities as required.
4. Implements and sustain 5S activities and standards.
5. Organize production workflow and ensures employees understand their duties/tasks.
6. Highlight performance and training issues as appropriate to maximise performance of all employees while ensuring cross training and flexibility of staff to support these changes in production priorities especially during peak periods.
7. Liaison with engineering and management for scheduling and supervision of disassembly.
8. To highlight to Workcell Manager when there is high fallout.
9. Achieve daily standard set by Workcell Manager.
10. Audits material kits, issues material to the line, reports scrap and maintains clean and organized work area.
11. Maintain timekeeping and records on TMS in a timely manner for payroll purposes.
12. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
13. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
14. Lead by example, ensuring safe work practices are always maintained in line with company policies.
Essential criteria
15. Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent is required. May substitute relevant experience in lieu of educational requirements.
16. 2-3 years in a supervisory / people management role is essential.
17. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is desired.
