Job Summary
1. Safe Management and Administration of Medications
2. Utilising nursing skills to support the delivery of effective front-line support to all Service Users
3. Support the development and implementation of Health Assessments, Medication Plans and all supporting docs outlining supports for individuals including: personal plans, epilepsy plans, diabetic plans etc.
4. Ensure that all Health Action Plans are delivered appropriately to all Service Users
5. Promote good relationships with primary health care services in each individual’s community.
6. Communicate and liaise with the Multi-Disciplinary Team
7. Identify supports and work in partnership with the individual, their family and other supports as outlined within individual Personal Plans
8. Support service users with health appointments and follow through on recommendations.
9. Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to service users.
10. Promote & nurture person centred planning using key worker systems and shared goal setting, maintaining confidentiality at all times
11. Support the development and implementation of relevant docs outlining supports for individuals including: personal plans, standard operating procedures etc.
12. Support and promote maximum opportunities for community involvement for people who use the service.
13. Assist DON in regard to compiling and presenting reports as required
14. Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to staff and service users.

22. To act responsibly, at all-times, and to co-operate with our regulators in the very best interests of our service and the people who use them.
23. To maintain the highest level of infection control standards as directed by company policy and national best practice guidance in the utmost interests for the Safety, Health and welfare for yourself, your colleagues, our service users and residents and any other persons in so far as is reasonable and practicable.
Skills Requirement
Nua Healthcare Services, want you to work as part of our talented multidisciplinary team within Ireland’s first independently operated Low Secure Unit. This new and exciting specialist mental health inpatient service will provide care and treatment for adults aged between 18 and 65 who suffer from a mental disorder.
24. Seeking Psychiatric Nurse of all Grades.
25. Eligible to be on, the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
26. Ability to effectively and concisely communicate with team members, management, external contractors, and any other key business relationships.
27. Must demonstrate sound judgement and an ability to make business-critical decisions in a timely fashion.
28. Full Clean Driver’s licence.
