We are looking for a customer-focused Desktop Engineer to support our client Intel, based on their site in Leixlip. This is an entry level position; however, the applicant should be technically competent, possess excellent written and face to face communication skills and be willing to collaborate with the wider Global I.T support teams.
This is a full-time position working Mon to Thurs-8AM – 4.30 PM & Fri 8AM-3.30PM
As a Desktop Engineer your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing 1st and 2nd level laptop / desktop support
2. Monitoring call management systems
3. Providing support for; Walk-in Service Centre, Installs, Breakfix, Refresh, and Training Rooms
4. Troubleshooting Office Software Issues
5. Support Wireless office environment
6. Participate in Project based assignments when required
7. Participating in Hardware /OS Refresh activity adhering to strict PC refresh schedules
8. Regular off-site visits to Intel Warehouse may be required
9. Participating in weekly Audio-Visual proactive maintenance schedule when required, log and resolve issues

18. Manual Handling Experience
Desirable experience:
19. Safe pass certified
20. Experience in a similar position is desirable.
