PE Global is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for a leading multi-national Biotech client based in Meath.
This is an initial 11-month contract position supporting the Warehouse Team with the day-to-day operations in the Warehouse regarding materials sampling, materials movements into Site, within operational areas & shipments from Site to both other Sites and external customers.
ROLE:
1. Execute Goods Receipting activities.
2. Execute Sampling activities using the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) method.
3. Execute Picking and Kitting activities for Manufacturing material requests.
4. Execute Cycle Counting activities.
5. Execute Outbound Shipping and Logistics activities, including dangerous goods. Support the packout of Drug Substance.
6. Document material offload checks and sampling activities on eLogs.
7. Execute Working Cell Bank activities.
8. Key user of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, COMET (SAP).
9. Key user of the Laboratory Management system, GLIMS.
10. Support an environment of continuous improvement by participating in and driving innovative activities and ideas in the Material Availability hub to help improve the value stream.
11. Support Quality Event Investigations by providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge.
12. Act as a Qualified Trainer for Warehouse activities.
13. Always Maintains/ Supports a high standard of Safety /GMP compliance.
14. Actively seeks out performance improvement opportunities, through cross functional training & experience.
15. Own Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for an operational area in the Warehouse and, where required, modify training packages.
16. Specialise in one operational area in the Warehouse: Cell Bank Management; Cold Chain Logistics; Material Management; ERP System Superuser.
17. Actively participate in Audits and GEMBAs as an SME and, support Shop floor problem-solving.
18. Actively participate in the Material Availability Tier 0 Board and the Material Availability Tier 1 Board.
19. Any other duties assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
20. 2-5 years’ experience in a Good Manufacturing Production (GMP)-regulated environment.
21. Forklift license is desirable.
22. Education Level 6 – minimum
23. Ability to work independently and, within a cross-functional team.
24. Experience using ERP systems at a manufacturing site.
25. Experience using Microsoft Office programs.
26. Ability to promote a culture where Diversity and Inclusion is supported.
27. This role is a site-based role.
28. The needs of business might need a change in shift pattern – both afternoon-shift & weekend support
