Our client is seeking dedicated Social Care Workers to join their team in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan. If you are committed to promoting independence, personal growth, and community integration for residents, this is the role for you!
As a Social Care Worker, you will work as part of a supportive team to empower residents, helping them develop skills, achieve their personal goals, and lead fulfilling lives. The primary role of this position is to assist residents in acquiring new skills and supporting their independence, ensuring they live as happily and independently as possible in their home.

Key Responsibilities:
* Implement clinical policies supporting person-centered care aligned with national quality standards.
* Provide individualized support to residents, promoting dignity, respect, and independence.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT), family members, and key personnel to meet residents' goals.
* Support residents' engagement with the community, including facilitating volunteering, employment, and social activities.
* Ensure residents' health and safety, assist with appointments, and uphold hygiene and dietary standards.
* Maintain and manage accurate records, supporting residents' financial management and upholding confidentiality.
Requirements:
* Hold a Level 7 qualification in Social Care / Applied Social Care (or equivalent), or be actively pursuing it.
* Knowledge of legislation, regulations, and standards applicable to accommodation-based services for vulnerable adults and children.
* Experience in a care environment, particularly with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
* Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a compassionate personality.
* Full driving licence (essential for this role).
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
