KSN Project Management have immediate & upcoming vacancies for the role of Clerk of Works,as part of their Design & Build School Construction Projects within the Greater Dublin Region. Theroleswillbesite-basedreportingtotheEmployersRepresentative.Abriefdescriptionofduties and requirements are listed below: Duties; Ensureallworksonsitearecarriedoutinfullcompliancewith requiredstandards. Regularlycheckcompletedworksandworksinprogressandcompare toprojectplansand project Works Requirements. EnsureHealth&Safetydrawings/specifications andpracticesareadheredto at all times. Measureand visuallysamplebuildingmaterialstochecktheirqualityand ensuresamearein line with project Works Requirements. Attendprogressmeetingsandensureallreportedissuesareproperlydealtwithinatimely manner. Continuously monitorallworks onsiteandliaisewithcontractorsandprojectmanagement. Regularlyattendsiteinspections,snaggingandhandoverof worksdelivered. Coordination of inspections with client technical team. Maintain daily site diary of all activities onsite. Requirements; Minimum3yearsconstruction-based experience,preferablyonsiteinaroleasaForeman, Site Engineer, Site Manager, Clerk of Works, or as a Resident Architect/Resident Engineer. Preferenceforexperienceonnew-buildprojects,howeverrefurbishmentprojects willbe considered.Optional-QualificationsrelatedtoHealth&SafetyandFirespecificqualificationsarea distinctadvantage. CandidatesapplyingideallyshouldhavepracticalITskillsand abilitytousevarioussoftware packages to accurately record data. This is an ideal role for experienced candidates with a wide degree of construction knowledge. Remuneration for the Clerk of Works is very favourable and based on candidates experience.
