What You Will Do
1. Serve as a key liaison across local and global business functions on risk matters.
2. Execute the operational risk and resilience frameworks in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
3. Identify and manage operational and resilience risks, developing solutions and re-engineering processes.
4. Perform root cause analysis and control assessments on operational risk events.
5. Conduct ‘deep dive’ reviews of significant events and provide recommendations to enhance control environments.
6. Maintain the operational risk framework for new and existing product strategies.
7. Lead role in the update of the ICAAP and maintain the operational risk register.
8. Administer and support group-wide operational risk tools, including configuration and system support.
What We Are Looking For
9. Experience in an asset/investment management firm within operational risk or internal audit (minimum 7 years required).
10. Deep understanding of UCITS and AIFs.
11. Ability to manage resilience processes such as Third-Party Risk Management, IT and Cyber Risk Management, and Business Impact Analysis.
12. Comfortable in risk identification and collaboration for risk solutions.
13. Ability to interact with senior management and assert influence across organisational levels.
Skills Required
14. University degree in a related subject.
15. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
16. Familiarity with Wolters Kluwer – OneSumX GRC or other risk applications (a plus).
17. High degree of initiative and excellent communication skills.
18. Demonstrated experience in operational risk management
