Your new company Our client is a market leader in the leasing industry, and they have been in the business for over 100 years. They are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their company on a permanent basis. They are internationally recognised, and they service for leasing, sale and maintenance of freight railcars. Your new role As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts. You will report directly to the Management Accounting Manager and the CFO, working in a strong finance team. To produce and prepare the accounting and financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, analysis). You will be responsible for forecasting and planning: variance analysis / budget preparation. Part of your responsibility will be to look after the fixed assets, cost efficiencies and process improvements. You will be tasked with the completion of month-end tasks. The Management Accountant will have to do analysis of the monthly OPEX, along with the inventory management: quarterly stock valuation and consumption analysis. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in the role, you will be fully qualified, with a couple of years of post-qualified experience. The experience that is required is with budgeting and forecasting, along with monthly reporting. You will have had strong experience in the production of a monthly management pack. As the Management Accountant, you will be ambitious and ready to take on this role and make it your own. They are open to industries but leasing, of course, would be advantageous. You will need to be strong in Excel as most of the reporting is done via excel. You must be able to work in a fast-paced, global environment. What you'll get in return You will gain a competitive salary for your experience in the range of €60,000 - €65,000. There is parking on site in an accessible Dublin 15 location.
