Quantitative Python Developer Job Description: Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a Quantitative Python Engineer to develop and enhance advanced modelling solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Job Responsibilities Collaborate with risk management, product management, and engineering teams to design and deliver high-quality modelling solutions. Develop automated tests, technical documentation, and processes to meet stakeholder requirements. Lead technical design efforts and align solutions with enterprise architecture strategies. Identify, explore, and integrate tools and technologies to advance solution development. Estimate development efforts and ensure timely delivery of technical solutions. Maintain and enhance the quality, scalability, and stability of assigned projects. Serve as a steward of solution integrity, ensuring robust architecture and usability. Work on technologies such as Python, AWS, and NoSQL database solutions. Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders. Advanced expertise in Python development. Proven experience delivering solutions on AWS platforms, leveraging serverless and cloud-native architectures. Track record of leading innovation activities and proof-of-concept exercises. Strong understanding of modern technology stacks and solution evaluation. Ability to lead technical discussions and adopt new technologies swiftly. Experience working in financial domains such as insurance, reinsurance, or other financial industries is advantageous. Desirable Skills Familiarity with NoSQL databases and scalable cloud systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with agile development methodologies. Proven ability to evaluate and integrate third-party solutions. Educational Requirements A degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences) or equivalent industry experience. Advanced training or education in quantitative engineering is highly desirable.
