Are you ready to take ownership of key projects and clients while working independently and as part of a team? We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze building defects, collect information, and measurements.
2. Conduct Technical Due Diligence (TDD) surveys and write reports.
3. Provide reasoned advice and recommendations with detailed reports.
4. Serve as Contract Administrator, ensuring smooth project execution.
5. Manage projects, including overseeing specialists and sub-consultants.
6. Prepare designs and specifications at various stages.
7. Report on progress and quality of third-party building works.
8. Prepare condition records and schedules of dilapidations.
9. Conduct Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs).
10. Advise on historic property preservation and conservation.
11. Supervise building maintenance and prepare maintenance schedules.
12. Monitor development projects.
13. Manage health and safety compliance as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP).
14. Understand building mechanical and electrical systems.
Note: This list is not exhaustive. Other duties may be required as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
15. Minimum two years post-qualification experience.
16. Chartered Building Surveyor with SCSI or RICS membership.
17. Flexible working hours based on client needs.
18. Ability to manage instructions and maintain client relationships.
19. Understanding of commercial property.
20. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
21. Strong report writing skills with attention to detail.
Salary range : 50k – 55k DOE
Working Model : Onsite for first 6 months, with Hybrid working model thereafter
