Position Title: Cleaning Supervisor
Location : Client Site
Reporting to: Cleaning Manager
Overall Purpose of the Job
To assist in the provision of an efficient and effective cleaning service in accordance with contractualobligations and company policy and standards. Lead and manage the day to day operations on theground. Be responsible for the Cleaning operatives. Liaise closely and professionally with theClient/Client representatives in dealing with day to day operational matters.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensures the smooth running of the site adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification
2. To supervise and investigate the quality and standard of cleaning services provided at client sites and assist the Cleaning Manager
3. To assist the Cleaning Manager in the supervision of the cleaning service staff, including the allocation of workloads, monitoring progress and performance, determining work priorities, paying particular attention to productivity and quality control
4. To assist in the undertaking of site cleaning audits
5. To control and monitor the correct use of appropriate cleaning materials
6. To control and monitor the use of cleaning equipment, arranging the repair or renewal of equipment and make recommendations to the Cleaning Manager
7. To carry out stock checks on equipment and materials as required
8. To arrange/carry out the induction and ‘on the job’ training of the cleaning staff in accordance with relevant Apleona company practices
9. To undertake in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager, recruitment of cleaning employees in accordance with relevant Apleona company practices
10. To organise the provision of relief/ holiday cover for cleaning staff as required in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager
11. To authorise, allocate, and record in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager cleaning staff absences
12. Perform adhoc duties and other related tasks as assigned by the Cleaning Manager
Person Specification
13. Excellent communication skills essential for professional discussion in meetings and for frequent liaison with all contract parties
14. Must have excellent organisational and management skills
15. Be an efficient motivator and leader with good problem solving skills
16. Flexibility required for the role

18. Excellent computer literacy essential for administrative purposes
19. Experience of using cleaning equipment
