Your day-to-day:
1. Conceptualize and design enterprise applications that empower professional users.
2. Collect insights to help identify trends, problems, opportunities, and design solutions core to the insurance industry
3. Conduct jobs-to-be-done interviews to understand your target user’s needs
4. Map insights to uncover the most valuable data and make it consumable by business users.
5. Validate and iterate concepts with customers and subject matter experts.
6. Define product information architecture and key design patterns that can become part of our design system
What you need to be successful:
7. Has 3+ years of experience user experience design and design research (gathering and synthesizing information, as well as generating insights) for B2B2C products.
8. Has experience with discovering and communicating requirements to development based on user journeys.
9. Proficient in design methods and artifacts, such as interaction flows, information architecture, flow diagrams, mental models, wireframes, etc.
10. Has experience and is comfortable co-facilitating conversations with a diverse group of stakeholders and provides a productive, enjoyable, collaborative experience.
11. Is familiar with design thinking, lean and agile approaches to creating software, and brings a commitment to learn and improve.
12. Is comfortable with frequent collaboration between design and product/development teams.
13. Has strong written and presentation skills – likes to tell compelling stories.
14. Has experience with cloud-based applications and complex business processes a plus
15. Has experience with design systems and design tokens a plus.
