We are seeking a Clinical Education Facilitator for a private hospital in Galway, Ireland.
Temporary (2 years) Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* To determine the clinical educational needs of staff members while serving as a member of the Practice Development and Education team.
* Maintain current knowledge of pertinent modifications to clinical standards and create educational opportunities and/or training resources to help all employees advance their careers.
* To arrange for all clinical and nonclinical sectors' required and ongoing education.
* Must work with both internal and external instructors to teach and/or organise specific courses as needed.
* To oversee the new hire onboarding session and make adjustments as needed.
* To take part in programs for practice development and assist in the training of PD facilitators in the workplace
* Encourage and support the practical application of evidence
* Assist nurses who need extra help and/or programs for professional growth.
* Encourage the application and evaluation of nursing standards.
* To serve as a resource for employees regarding clinical education matters.
* Any other duties as outlined by Director of Nursing Office.
Requirements
1. Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI
2. At least three years of clinical experience
3. Possess an interest in, experience with, and comprehension of the conditions required for professional learning in the workplace.
4. Expertise in creating and implementing clinical education.
5. Have proven Clinical, Leadership skills
6. Ability to work comfortably in multi-disciplinary teams.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
