Who will you be working for?

What will you be doing?
You will be an important part of the Central MCA Transformation Team, with the responsibility of being a significant contributor to the development of risk and control assessments for Markets products / asset classes. You will work alongside and in collaboration with senior business stakeholders to ensure that the scope of risk and control assessments are complete, fit for purpose, and adhere to both regulatory expectations and policy requirements. You will execute assigned deliverables and work products to manage cross-team dependencies, ensuring that issues and risks are identified and proactively managed. Along with this, you will drive engagement across the Markets business and with stakeholders across the three lines of defence, where required, and inform about key updates and matters requiring decisions for presentation to management for areas of responsibility.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates who have strong experience within the banking and financial services sector, in a Business Analyst / Risk and Control position. You will have a strong understanding of the operational risk management framework including risk and control assessments, with a proven track record of contributing to risk and control-based regulatory remediation programs. You will have knowledge and experience of the market business across one or more product / function. Imperative to this role is excellent communication skills. In order to collaborate and negotiate internally, some external communication may be necessary. Furthermore, there is a proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from the current state to proposed solutions. You will apply in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity.
