Our client, a leading global Construction Materials Manufacturer are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative to join their growing Sales team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. They will play a crucial role in promoting company products/ services, addressing customer needs, and contributing to the overall success of the sales department.
Expertise and being based locally to the counties in Cork, Limerick and Kerry is essential in this role.
The Role:
1. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
3. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through lead generation and networking.
4. Establish and cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
5. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
6. Possess in-depth knowledge of the products/services offered.
7. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of products/services to customers.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
9. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
10. Clearly articulate the value proposition of products/services.
11. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the market and how our offerings meet customer needs.
12. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer support, to enhance overall customer experience.
13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in the CRM system.
14. Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Your essential skills:
15. 2+ years proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar Field Sales role, selling to the Construction/ Retail or similar sectors.
16. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
18. Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
19. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
20. FUll valid driver’s licence.
21. Willingness to travel as required.
