Our client, an international leader in the medical device industry is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join an operation in South Dublin for a permanent days position.
Warehouse Manager - Dublin South
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Internal Operations, you will oversee the effective management of the warehouse. You will be responsible for inventory management, logistics and the performance of warehouse staff. You will work closely with Sales Teams and the wider Operations Team to ensure customer requirements and KPI's are met in line with the clients' standards.
The Person:
The successful candidate will be a hands-on Manager who will lead and motivate both the Warehouse teams to achieve operational targets and KPI's. You will use your people management skills to drive continuous improvement projects and encourage efficiencies to provide a best in class service to our customers
Responsibilities:
1. Manage customer relationships for the facility.
2. Manage all warehouse staff as well as the internal relationships with management and other business units across the EU.
3. Maintain stock control and ensure stock levels continuously meet requirements.
4. Ensure to monitor quality levels of all products leaving or received by the warehouse.
5. Strive for continuous improvement in all aspects.
6. Maintain organised records and provide reports when required.
7. Any relevant, additional duties as required.
8. Ensure all staff are carrying out their daily duties and responsibilities.
9. Develop and maintain a broad understanding and experience of all aspects of the sales and support process.
10. Set team objectives & targets, monitor and provide feedback on performance on an ongoing basis.
11. Ensure appropriate risk management plans are in place to support business continuity.
Candidate Requirements
12. 4+ years' experience as a warehouse manager or in a similar role .
13. Strong logistics / shipping knowledge.
14. Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
15. Flexibility and Adaptability.
16. Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment while maintaining organisation and a keen eye for detail.
17. Qualification in logistics or supply chain desirable but not essential
18. Computer literate in Microsoft Office and SAP
