The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing expert financial and tax advice, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Irish accounting standards and regulations. Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, including income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and payroll taxes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Provide expert financial advice and tax planning services to clients across various sectors. Conduct audits and ensure all statutory requirements are met, working closely with clients to address any issues or concerns. Prepare management accounts, budgets, and financial forecasts to assist clients in their decision-making processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored financial solutions. Support business development activities by identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients and attract new clients. Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards, advising clients on how these changes may impact their business. Mentor and support junior staff members, contributing to their training and development. Qualifications & Experience: ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations. Proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and provide strategic financial advice. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. A proactive and results-driven approach, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
