To promote the development of independent living skills, and to assist service users in their daily living within a Day service, ensuring their safety and well – being at all times.
Minimum Education & Skills required
• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
• Minimum 2 years previous experience working with people with a disability.
A clear understanding of the philosophy of independent living and community integration will be required to be demonstrated.
• Good communication skills and the ability to self-direct are also essential.
• Experience in the provision of personal care support.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• To collate, assessment and intervention information and expertise for the purpose of developing an individualised community support service.
• To document information, update records, and complete necessary paperwork for communication and accountability purposes.
• To ensure all interaction with clients is approached with dignity, respect, equality and incorporates choice.

• A full, clean driving license, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience is required.

Salary starting from point 1 € 28,570.23 - point 5 € 30,051.09 (Pro Rata), depending on experience.
