We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Engineer (Retail) to join our team. This role will require travel to various sites and stores.While this role is set as Cork (main office), we would welcome candidates from across Ireland. Key responsibilities of the role; Evaluation, testing and physical deployment of new store technologies. Serve as SME for retail technology and interact with users, various teams and divisions within Musgrave and our partners. Troubleshoot technical issues in-store both remotely and on-site working with both retailers & IT partners Ensuring technology is kept green with supported and/or new hardware & application versions piloted & deploy ready. Build estate wide technical deployment processes through detailed testing in Musgrave lab and pilot stores Documentation of processes for handover to internal / external deployment & support teams. Engagement and alignment with 3rd party vendors to ensure technology stack is fit for purpose and current. Ensuring support process for new technologies is in place and ready for handover into BAU. 3rd line on site support for retail IT Our Ideal candidate would have; Juniper Mist JNCIA/JNCIS or equivalent network certification. Strong knowledge of retail IT physical environments and systems. Proven MIST AI hands-on implementation experience Experience with troubleshooting technical issues both remotely and on-site working with both technical teams and in-store personnel Desire to learn, develop and achieve professional certifications. Experience in leading the evaluation, on-site piloting and rollout of new technologies. Possesses? ?strong? ?communication? ?skills,? ?both? ?verbal? ?and? ?written? especially opposite business / retail colleagues Ability to explain complex technical and operational concepts in simple business language. Ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines. Self-starter with the ability to lead or work as part of a team. Experience in managing retailer relationships and expectations to achieve the best results.
