Job Overview
Jensen Hughes have a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented Fire engineer to join our market leading Ireland team and help us drive excellence across our projects and deliver world class life safety solutions to our diverse client base in 2024! Our Galway and Cork team have had a record-breaking year with some truly impressive successes to shout about, now is a great time to join us. This role can be located anywhere in Ireland on a remote basis.

Responsibilities
5. Preparing fire strategies for a wide range of buildings using ADB, BS9999, BS9991, BS7974, HTM Guidance and BB100 among other documents.
6. Take a lead on Technical projects
7. Manage medium/large size projects including fee proposals and invoicing.
8. Be the expert to our clients and that all important first point of call.
9. Lead discussion with design team, building control and fire service.
10. Attend industry conferences to Network and embrace industry trends and best practices
11. Supervise and train graduate engineers.
Requirements and Qualifications
To set you up for success in this role from day one (at a minimum) the following qualifications/experience are required:
12. A background in fire engineering preferably within a consultancy environment
13. A bachelor’s degree or higher within Fire engineering
14. Ideally working towards becoming a Chartered engineer
15. The right to work in Ireland
16. The ability to undertake works independently
17. The ability and desire to mentor and manage our young professionals
