The Leisure Centre Assistant Manager is an important position working closely with hotel management.
About Us:
The McWilliam Park Hotel is a Failte Ireland approved luxurious four-star hotel. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it a popular hotel for celebrating special occasions like weddings or to enjoy a romantic break or family getaway.
The hotel boasts 103 comfortable large sized hotel bedrooms, a leisure club (Evolve Health & Fitness) with a fully equipped gym, an indoor heated swimming pool and children's pool.
Role/Responsibilities:
* Conduct staff training & implement correct policies & procedures.
* Ensure all staff up-sell and following procedures regarding selling memberships.
* Take full responsibility for Health & Safety Compliance in the Leisure Club.
* Ensure the team always deliver the highest quality of service and advice to the guests and members.
* Ensure that all team members exceed the expectations of all guests within the hotel and to do so in a pleasant and efficient manner in accordance with the established standards in the hotel.
* To adhere to all Hygiene and Cashiering Procedures.
* To handle customer queries and complaints in a professional, efficient manner.
* Motivate, always lead and engage the team.
Requirements:
* The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 /3years' experience in a similar role
* Fully qualified and certified Gym Instructor
* Fully qualified and certified Lifeguard
* Fully qualified and certified level 2 Swim Teacher
* Certified in Occupational First Aid - desirable but not essential
* Certified Pool Plant Room operator - desirable but not essential
