Job Purpose
1. Establishment and expansion of Topcon’s paving business. Main focuses are on 3D solutions for milling and paving but also on digitalization of the whole paving process.
2. Acquisition of new distributors and service providers, and supporting all sales through existing distributors / subsidiaries for this product portfolio.
3. Part of the work assignment will be to get in contact with tendering authorities and private project owners to add our solutions into tenders.
Core duties
4. Work to build up a network with the most important customers / partners / stakeholders in the area.
5. Responsible for maximizing the sales of the paving portfolio within the designated region in line with the agreed sales budgets.
6. Understand the paving industry and create business with existing and new stakeholders.
7. Work closely with Topcon’s Sales and Marketing Teams to provide business solutions.
8. Creating and supporting events for distributors, subsidiaries, authorities, universities and similar.
9. Get in contact with tendering authorities and private project owners to add Topcon’s paving portfolio to tenders.
10. Acquire new and support (focusing on sales) existing distributors for this product portfolio
Education and Experience
11. Civil engineer or similar
12. 5+ years' experience in paving and construction business
13. Salesmen with a technical understanding
14. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
15. Affinity for digitization
16. Ability of building trusted long-term professional relationships
17. A basic know-how for survey will be an advantage
18. Able to present in front of deciders in local and English language.
19. Willingness working in a virtual team
20. Good skills at MS-Office
21. Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce / SAP)
22. Driving license (car)
Working Conditions:
23. Must be able to visit jobsites includes walks over rough terrain.
24. Working from home in Ireland (home-office) with a willingness for traveling to the whole region responsible for, with exceptional trips within the EMEA Region.
25. This position requires up to 50% travel.
26. Working on exhibitions is also a part of this job.
