The Role & The Team:

Our Druva resiliency cloud is built using serverless technology on Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora DB, and S3 and utilizes or integrates with 20 other AWS services. The emphasis is on scale. We are looking for a Software Engineer, with Go being the prominent experience requirement for the role. We would also welcome candidates with a background in Java and/or Python. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering, your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Ideally, the right candidate will focus on software delivery best practices through the Agile methodology
What You Will Do:
1. Develop software modules for various parts of the system
2. Writes design documents and proposes design solutions
3. Demonstrates strong understanding of software engineering processes such as agile methodologies, code-reviews, writing functional specifications
4. Understands and maintains existing code-base, adds features, fixes bugs, re-factors existing code
5. Solves challenging technical problems

8. Demonstrates strong knowledge of data structures
9. Demonstrates good understanding of development tools such as version control, effort management and ticketing and compiling and generating builds

What We Are Looking For:
16. Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience with recognized and applicable industry certifications
17. Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a software engineer
18. Proficiency with Go, and/or Python
19. Experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS, Azure)
20. Experience of microservice development
21. Understanding accessibility and security compliance
22. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
23. Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
24. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
25. Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
26. Ability to Create database schemas that represent and support business processes
27. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit test
28. Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
29. AWS Accreditation a plus
