The Role: Accounts Assistant
In this key role, you will report directly to the Accounts Supervisor and collaborate with a dedicated Finance Team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of payroll, accounts, and budgeting processes. This is an opportunity to contribute to a company that's at the forefront of respiratory diagnostics while honing your financial expertise.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
* Input, process and code invoices accurately and timely
* Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to resolve account queries
* Managing the monthly payment run
* Reconcile creditors' ledger statements on a monthly basis
* Collaborating with the Finance team to maintain financial accuracy
* Provide support and documents for audits
* Payroll: review and analysis of timesheets and data entry for weekly payroll
* Assist with various administrative tasks
* Other ad-hoc duties as they arise
What We're Looking For
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role
* Experience using accounting software systems SAGE 200 is an advantage
* Accounting Technician qualifications desirable
* Competent with Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel
* Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
* Good communication skills are essential
