Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager 1, to join a committed multidisciplinary team in a dynamic mental health facility.
This is a 6 month full-time contract, with the possibility of extension and offers excellent career opportunities with a strong work/life balance. The successful candidate will support the Clinical Nurse Management team in the strategic and operational development, coordination, and management of the service in accordance with national and regulatory standards and with regard to best practice. They will also be responsible for ensuring patient care is maintained to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence-based, care planning approach.
To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:
1. Be a Registered Psychiatric Nurse on the NMBI register
2. Possess 3 years post-registration nursing experience consisting of at least 1 year working in adult mental health services.
3. Flexibility in covering night shift/bank holidays/weekends.
4. Experience in a healthcare/hospital setting, including acute mental health care.
5. Clinical experience in palliative care is desirable.
6. Possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of clinical, managerial, and administrative competencies.
7. Extensive experience in managing staff, budgets, and workforce planning.
8. Possess an in-depth knowledge of the Mental Health Commission requirements, leadership, and governance.
9. Energetic individual with solid clinical experience in working with a team of diverse clinicians and strong knowledge of the concepts and operations of Clinical Governance.
10. Strong ability to lead, teach, manage, participate, and play a vital role in the practice education of students, and to promote and engage in the teaching/training/support of others as appropriate.
11. Have a good knowledge and experience of health, safety, and other statutory regulations affecting a healthcare organization.
12. Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.
