Job Description
1. Complete daily tasks efficiently as assigned by Supervisor/ Manager
2. Respond promptly to requests for information from the SGS TransitNet support office, Clients and Internal SGS Departments being proactive in problem solving and finding solutions.
3. Communicate promptly as required with customs, clients and SGS Departments.
4. Update user systems and run reports as required.
5. Accurately input client customs declarations and client profile data on the SGS TransitNet system
6. Monitor Data registration and processing taking accountability for accuracy and adhering strictly to Data Protection regulations and procedures/policies.
7. Monitoring e-client data inputs and rectifying errors where required.
8. Sending on required documents to clients/ support office departments as and when needed
9. Reporting KPIs as required.
10. Assist the sales team in business development activities to build the client base and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.
11. Attend meetings as requested in Client Offices, Ports or Customs locations
12. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
13. Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct, and at all times adopt behaviour in accordance with SGS’s Equality & Diversity policy
14. At all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and clients, in line with the Company’s policies and procedures
Qualifications
15. Third level qualification preferred but not essential
16. Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in the customs environment with excellent knowledge of various customs declarations including Imports/ Exports.
17. Proficient excel user is essential
18. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
19. Resilience and ability to work under pressure and achieve the targets/ goals
