SelectEvidence® is an expert cybersecurity risk assessment platform that guides medical device manufacturers through the processes of identifying applicable threats to their products and implementing the right security controls to mitigate those threats. It provides manufacturers with an intelligent, standardized, repeatable and traceable approach to establishing cybersecurity requirements across all connected medical devices.
Background:
Nova Leah seeks an innovative and enthusiastic, experienced DevOps Engineer to support our rapid growth as we enter into new markets and expand our product range. The role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to work closely with Nova Leah’s young, progressive management team delivering our unique cybersecurity solutions to the connected medical device industry.
Experience/Requirements:
We seek applications from candidates with the following experience:
1. Have at least 4 years’ commercial experience within a DevOps enterprise/deploy and build.
2. Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
3. Experience of deploying and supporting applications in Azure.
4. Experience managing and maintaining CI/CD systems with Jenkins.
5. High level of knowledge with Kubernetes, Docker, as well as Linux.
6. Strong scripting knowledge in Python and Bash.
7. Experience is supporting large MySQL and/or Postgres installations.
8. Experience with Git/Bitbucket or similar source control.
9. Experience with system/application/infrastructure monitoring tools.
10. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Work well under pressure both independently and within a team.
13. Cybersecurity and/or medical device and/or healthcare experience an advantage.
Core Duties:
14. Manage and support current cloud application environments on Azure.
15. Design, implement and improve Azure architectures for new and existing projects.
16. Ensure security best practices are followed to maintain ongoing compliance with company
requirements.
17. Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, attending stand-ups and driving progress.
18. Work together with the development teams to develop and improve the build/deployment
system.
19. Perform root cause analysis for production errors and investigate and resolve technical issues.
20. Support excellent customer experience by being proactive in assessing production issues and
working with the team to respond appropriately.
21. Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on Azure that address customer’s requirements for
scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
22. Manage DevOps tools and systems, including Bitbucket, Jenkins, CICD release orchestration and
deployment automation tools.
