We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and motivated Food & Beverage Trainer to join the Food and Beverage Team on the Ashford Castle Estate.
The role will include:
1. Working with HOD's and Senior Management to determine skill-gaps and training opportunities to improve performance and department objectives.
2. Being accountable for learning initiatives, ensuring design and overall programme embedding is in line with and reinforcing the Red Carnation values.
The duties of the successful candidate will:
3. Instilling a culture of high quality, process excellence and continuous improvement through clearly defined KPI's performance target and customer satisfaction.
4. Identify and assess current training needs with HOD's.
5. Work collaboratively with the management team to understand individual centre-needs to ensure the centre can obtain year-end targets through employee performance.
6. Facilitate regular open communication regarding training with Management and team members, look for feedback and suggest changes/additions to training where necessary.
7. Develop current and effective learning and development
8. Design engaging, relevant and inspiring training content incorporating a variety of methodologies keeping your audience at the forefront, virtual, mobile, intra-net, online and web based training.
9. Conduct training modules.
10. Monitor and gauge the effectiveness of the training modules and programmes by implementing real time and real value measures such as assessments and sales reports.
11. Establish a methodology for weekly/monthly reporting on training KPI's and share with team as appropriate.
12. Create and facilitate the creation of bite size training to provide and deliver immediate individual and team results.
13. Source external vendors to deliver programmes internally including academic and non-academic courses to meet employees learning and development needs.
The ideal candidate will have
14. Have previous experience delivering training in a 5 star environment
15. Knowledge of Forbes 5* standards.
16. Previous experience in a Learning and Development Role.
17. Possess training experience & service skills
18. A positive attitude to coaching and with the ability to adapt to different personalities.
19. A passion for hospitality and a friendly guest focused approach.
