Head Chef - Munster 5* Hotel
My client, a fabulous 5* Hotel in Ireland is seeking an experienced Head Chef / Chef de Cuisine to join their dynamic team. The successful applicant will be required to assist the Executive Head Chef in overseeing the day-to-day culinary operations, including training, supervising staff, and monitoring food quality. They are seeking a hands-on proactive manager capable of leading and motivating a team of talented Chefs in multiple outlets. You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Senior Chef role ideally working within a busy 5* Hotel or Fine Dining Restaurant environment
The Candidate:
1. Previous experience in a similar senior role in a 4* or 5* Hotel or Fine Dining Restaurant environment
2. A Team Player, excellent Staff Developer & an innovative Team leader
3. Should have an understanding & knowledge of compiling wage forecasts, rosters, monthly stock control & budgeting, team training, cost control management, and managing HACCP.
4. Should excel and exceed in the delivery of exceptional food whilst maintaining consistency.
5. Be an ambitious person responsible for creating an environment that promotes employee morale and encourages the team to have pride and commitment to their work.
6. Excellent Communication, Organisational and Leadership Skills
7. Have the ability to handle multiple tasks including volume production with an eye for detail and presentation.
8. Stay up to date with the latest culinary trends
9. Ensure that the Outlets Operational budgets are in line and costs are strictly controlled
