Chef de Partie
Salary: €15 - €16 per hour
Location: Co. Meath
We are hiring for our client, a luxurious property in Co. Meath, seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join their culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-quality cuisine and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in your designated section of the kitchen.
* Ensure consistency in quality and presentation of all dishes served.
* Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining smooth kitchen operations during service.
* Take responsibility for stock control and food waste management in your section.
* Adhere to all health and safety, as well as food hygiene standards.
* Train and mentor junior staff members within the kitchen team.
* Assist with menu development and creation of seasonal dishes.
* Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end or luxury restaurant or hotel.
* Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and ingredients.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
* A team player with strong leadership skills and a passion for food.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
