Job Description
A global medical device company is expanding and looking for Manufacturing Engineers at various levels to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will provide support to the Manufacturing organisation, facilitating efficient operations, optimising processes, and ensuring production goals are met with an emphasis on equipment and process requirements.
Process ownership of defined areas includes driving improvements, strategic and cost projects, and integrating new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area.
Responsibilities
* Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes.
* Prepares reports, publishes, presents, and communicates recommendations and findings.
* Drives ownership of Engineering activities/methodologies with an emphasis on equipment/systems validation lifecycle.
* Develops expertise in Manufacturing process technologies and evaluates and leads the implementation of new equipment/processes.
* Provides input on equipment/systems problems by analysing situations and recommending corrective or alternative actions.
* An expert problem solver with understanding of engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices, and techniques.
* Improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/cross-functional groups and analysing activities.
* Incorporates business policies and procedures into task completion and understands customer needs.
* Interacts cross-functionally and with internal and external customers.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Engineering/Science essential.
* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
* FDA experience highly desirable but not essential.
* Six Sigma/problem solving methodologies.
* Experience in Validation lifecycle.
