Due to continued fleet growth, an established and growing company based in Arklow, County Wicklow is looking for a Chartering and Operations Assistant to work as a member of its busy Commercial Department. Responsibilities The successful candidate will support a busy chartering team, coordinating logistics internationally including: VoyageOrdersandPlanning. DailycommunicationwithVessels,BrokersandAgentstoensureoptimalvoyage performance. Close daily contact across all Company Departments including Technical, Crewing and Finance Departments. Handling/verification of cargo documentation. The Candidate As this is an entry-level position, experience within a similar role while helpful, is not essential. Familiarity with common software packages is necessary. Normaloffice hours apply.However, other out of hours workmay arise due to the international nature of the work, therefore flexibility is required.
