Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding Our client is dedicated to supporting and protecting vulnerable adults, promoting their rights, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Their Adult Safeguarding team works collaboratively with individuals, families, and community services to address concerns, prevent harm, and enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities of Social Worker Adult Safeguarding Conduct thorough assessments to identify safeguarding needs and risks for adults.
Develop and implement safeguarding plans in collaboration with the individual, their family, and relevant stakeholders.
Work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care and protection.
Provide advocacy and support to individuals to promote their rights and independence.
Maintain accurate and timely records in line with legal and organizational requirements.
Offer guidance, advice, and training on adult safeguarding to colleagues and partner organizations.
Ensure compliance with national safeguarding policies, standards, and procedures.
Requirements of Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding A recognized qualification in Social Work and current registration with CORU.
Experience in adult safeguarding, social work, or a related area.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
Ability to build trust and establish positive relationships with individuals and families.
A commitment to upholding the rights, dignity, and autonomy of adults.
